    4 cups flour
    2 T. baking powder
    4 t. sugar
    1/2 t. salt
    1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
    2 cups half and half
    1/2 cup butter, melted

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375. In a large bowl, stir the dry ingredients together. Add
    the cheese and the green onion and then add the half and half. Mix gently to
    form soft moist dough. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and
    knead for 2 minutes. Do not over knead. Pat the dough out to a thickness of 1".
    Using a 2" biscuit cutter or a glass, cut out the biscuits. Dip each into the
    melted butter to coat lightly on both sides. Arrange the biscuits on a baking
    sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden. Makes 18
