    1 1/2 cups flour -- sifted
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    2 Tablespoons chives -- chopped
    1/4 cup shortening
    1/2 cup sour cream
    1/4 cup water

    Recipe



    Sift together into a mixing bowl, the flour, baking powder, salt & baking
    soda. Stir in the chopped chives.

    Cut in the 1/4 cup shortening until particles are fine. Add the sour cream
    and 1/4 cup water. Stir until dough clings together. Knead on lightly
    floured surface ten times.

    Roll out on floured surface to 1/2" thickness. Cut with floured 2" round
    cutter.

    Bake at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes

    Makes about 1 dozen biscuits.
