Bacon and Cheese Bread

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
3/4 c. quick-cooking oats
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
Recipe
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cheese, oats and
bacon in large bowl. Set aside. Combine eggs, milk and oil; add to oat
mixture, stirring just enough to moisten dry ingredients. Spoon batter
into a greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350
degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool
in pan 10 minutes. Yield: 1 loaf.
