1 cup milk
3 Tbsps. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. soft butter or margarine
2 pkgs/Tbsp.dry yeast
1 cup warm water
4 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (grated)
Recipe
Scald milk, remove from heat and add sugar, salt and butter or margarine. Set mixture aside and let cool.
To warm water add dry yeast and stir. In a large bowl place flour, and cheese then add yeast and milk mixture, mixing well. Cover mixture with towel and let rise one hour. Spoon into 3"x 4"x 8" greased bread pans and bake.
