List of Ingredients
2 cups flour
1\2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
4 tbsp. shortening or lard
4 or 5 tbsp warm water Recipe
mix 1st 3 ingredients then cut in shortening or lard. Add water 1 or 2 tablespoons of water at a time until a dough forms. Let sit for 15 min.
(I normally don't have time to let it sit; it doesn't affect it any} Divide dough into 4 parts
or depending how big or small you want them. I
usually make balls that are about as big as raquetball. That fits into a bigger frying pan.
Roll out dough about 1/4 inch thick or so.
Cook in ungreased frying pan over med heat about 1 min on each side.
