    List of Ingredients




    1 C. corn meal
    3 T. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1 medium onion, chopped
    buttermilk (enough to make soft dough)
    Enough grease to deep fry

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients together. Drop in hot grease with teaspoon. Remove
    when golden brown and floats to top of oil, place on paper towels to
    absorb grease.
