    List of Ingredients




    2 cups finely ground self rising corn meal
    1/2 cup pumpkin
    1/4 cup oil
    1 beaten egg
    1 1/4 cups buttermilk

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 425F. Grease a cast iron skillet and place in oven to
    heat. Mix all ingredients until well blended. Carefully pour into
    prepared hot skillet, slide back into oven and bake 25 minutes until
    done. Cornbread will have a crispy brown crust on sides and bottom.
