Orange Whipped French Toast

List of Ingredients




3 eggs, separated and at room temperature
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
2 tablespoons milk
salt and cinnamon to taste
drop of orange extract
1-2 tablespoons butter
6 slices French bread (or your favorite bread)


Recipe



Whip egg whites to soft peaks.
Add sugar and whip to stiff peaks.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, milk, salt, cinnamon and orange extract.
Fold into the egg mixture.
Heat a saucepan with butter.
Dip bread into egg mixture.
Place in saucepan and fry until golden, turn and fry the other side until golden.
