    1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
    1-1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
    3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    3 eggs
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup unsalted peanuts, chopped
    3/4 cup butter
    1 package Peanut Butter Chips

    Recipe



    Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt onto wax paper. Beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a medium-size bowl with electric mixer until fluffy. Stir in dry ingredients; beat until smooth. Fold in 1/2 cup of the chopped nuts. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove pan from oven to wire rack; sprinkle with peanut butter chips. Let stand 5 minutes, then spread evenly with a small metal spatula. Sprinkle with remaining nuts, patting down gently. Cool; cut into bars.
