    1 1/2 sticks butter -- melted
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
    3 eggs
    3 tablespoons cocoa
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 cup chopped pecans
    ICING:
    1/2 cup butter
    2 tablespoons cocoa
    1/4 cup milk
    3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup chopped pecans

    Recipe



    Brownies: Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan in which butter
    has
    been melted. Pour in a 9x13" pan, and bake at 350°F. for 20-25
    minutes.

    Frosting: While brownies bake, prepare the frosting. In a saucepan,
    combine the butter, cocoa and milk. Heat to boiling, stirring. Mix
    in
    the powdered sugar, vanilla and pecans until frosting is smooth.
    Thin
    with milk if necessary. Pour over warm brownies as soon as you take
    them from the oven
