List of Ingredients
1 cup butter -- softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
FILLING:
3 cups blueberries
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarchRecipe
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the egg, flour, vanilla, and
salt. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
In a saucepan, bring blueberries, sugar, and cornstarch to a boil. Cook
and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Roll 2/3 of dough into 10x14" rectangle. Place in a greased 9x13" baking
dish. Top with filling. Roll out remaining dough to 1/4" thickness. Cut
into 1/2" strips. Make lattice crust over filling.
Bake at 375?F. for 30-35 minutes or until top is golden brown. Cool on a
wire rack. Cut into bars.
