Chocolate Chip Sugar Cookies

List of Ingredients
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tarter
1 c. chocolate chips, more or less, to taste
Recipe
Cream sugars and shotening.
Add vanilla and eggs. Mix together dry ingredients in a seperate
bowl, then add to other ingredients.
Place tablespoon size balls on un-greased cookie sheet. Slightly
flatten with the palm of your hand. Pop in the oven.
Bake at 375, for 11 mins., or 9 mins., if you like them doughy.
Note:
This is a very versatile cookie.
You can roll them in seasonal colored sugars, leave the sugar off,
add nuts or different flavors of chips chips. The possibilities are
endless and they are soooo yummy. To keep them soft, put a piece of
bread in the cookie jar.
