    List of Ingredients




    2 1/2 cups flour
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons instant coffee granules (French roast dark
    coffee)
    2 teaspoons coffee liqueur
    1 cup sugar
    3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
    1 cup butter -- softened
    2 large eggs
    2 cups semisweet chocolate bar -- coarsely chopped

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
    In a medium bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Mix well
    and
    set aside.
    In a small bowl dissolve coffee granules in coffee liqueur and set
    aside.
    In a large bowl blend sugars with an electric mixer at medium speed.
    Add
    butter and mix to form a grainy paste. Add eggs and dissolved coffee
    granules, and beat at medium speed until smooth.
    Add flour mixture and chocolate chunks, and blend at low speed just
    until
    combined. Do not overmix.
    Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet, 2" apart.
    Bake for 23-25 minutes. Immediately transfer to a cool, flat surface.
