Far East Rice Pilaf

List of Ingredients
1/2 cup white rice
1/2 vermicelli, broken into pieces or orzo (any tiny type pasta will do)
2 Tbl. butter, Margarine, or Olive Oil
2 cups water
2 boullion cubes, any flavor, or 2 tsp. boullion powder
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbl. dried parsley
Recipe
Melt butter (if using) in large skillet with well fitting lid. Brown pasta
in butter or oil. Add rice and stir to coat. Add water, boullion, and spices.
Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer about 20 minutes.
