    Pork Shoulder

    Source of Recipe

    unknown

    List of Ingredients

1 pork shoulder butt (I usually buy a 9 to 10 pound one so I can get 3
or 4 meals out of it)
    1 cup chicken broth
5 to 10 garlic cloves, minced
    lots of black pepper
    1 onion, sliced

    Recipe

Put the pork in your crockpot (either defrosted or not). Mix the broth, garlic and pepper together. Pour over pork. Place sliced onion on top. Cook on low 12 to 15 hours. I know it sounds like a lot of garlic and a long time, but it's great. Once it's done, I do one of 3 things: slice it and serve with the broth made in a gravy. OR shredded and use for burittos. If I shredded it, I then put leftovers into a ziploc bag, pour bbq sauce over it and throw into the freezer for a quickie meal.
