    Slow Cooked Italian Beef

    4-5 lb. potroast beef
    3 cups water
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1 pkg. zesty dressing mix
    1/2 red onion, sliced very thinly

    Recipe



    Pour ingredients over beef and cook on low all day in a crockpot.
    Shred beef, and return to broth for 15 minutes. Serve on buns or over
    noodles. You can also add fresh herbs near the end if you wish.
    Basil, marjoram or oregano work well. Makes 8-10 servings.
