    2 Ounces Margarine
    1/2 Cup Sugar
    1 Egg
    1/2 Cup Milk
    1 Cooking Apple
    2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
    1 1/3 Pounds S. R. Flour
    1 Pinch Salt
    1/4 Cup Sugar -- extra

    Recipe



    Cream margarine, sugar and egg, beating until light and fluffy sift flour,
    salt, fold into mixture alternately with milk. Mix till smooth, place in 8
    inch cake tin. Peel and core apple, cut into thin slices, arrange on top,
    sprinkle combined cinnamon and extra sugar, bake 45 minutes.
