    List of Ingredients




    dash of salt
    1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine

    Recipe



    Put sugar, cocoa, butter and egg all in a mixing bowl
    and beat. Add buttermilk or sour milk. Sift soda with flour
    and add. Beat all together and bake in a 350 degrees oven.
    Grease
    and flour cake tin or tins.
