    List of Ingredients




    1 cup sugar
    1/4 cup cornstarch
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1&1/2 cups cold water
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    3 oz. semisweet chocolate, broken into chunks
    2 tablespoons butter or margarine
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 pie shell, baked (9")
    1/2 cup whipping cream

    Recipe



    In a medium pan, mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Pour in water. Stir until
    blended. Add eggs and chocolate. Stir constantly over low heat until
    thickened and smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in butter or margarine and
    vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell. Refrigerate several hours or until firm.
    Whip cream; spread over pie.
