    2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 C. sugar
    1 large egg
    1 C. (6 oz.) milk chocolate morsels
    1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. Swiss chocolate cake mix (Duncan Hine's makes this one)
    1 (16 oz.) container homestyle creamy vanilla frosting
    1 (16 oz.) container chocolate fudge frosting
    sprinkles, optional

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350°F.
    Beat cream cheese at medium speed until smooth. Add sugar, beating well.
    Add egg, beating until just blended; stir in chocolate morsels. In
    separate bowl, prepare cake mix according to pkg. directions. Place
    baking cups in muffin pans. Spoon batter into cups, filling 2/3rds full.
    Spoon a scant tablespoonful cream cheese mixture in center of each
    cupcake. Bake 350°F. for 19-21 minutes or until wooden toothpick comes
    out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks 5 minutes. Remove from pans and
    cool completely. Frost cupcakes with desired flavor of frosting or swirl
    frostings together with a knife or thin metal spatula and decorate with
    sprinkles, if desired. Makes 2 1/2 dozen cupcakes.
