Double Chocolate Snack Cake

1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
powdered sugar -- for garnish
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In an ungreased 8" square baking pan, mix together
flour, brown sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt until
thoroughly combined. Stir in water, vegetable oil,
vinegar and vanilla. Sprinkle chocolate chips over
batter.
Bake 35-40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in
center comes out clean. Remove to a wire rack and
cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
