    List of Ingredients




    1 and 1 half butter, softened
    1(8oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 and 1 fourth cups of sugar or 1 and 3 fourth cup Sucanant
    6 eggs
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 and 1 half grated lemon peel
    3 cups of flour

    Glaze

    4 and 1 half cups powdered sugar
    1 half cup half~n~half
    3 and 1 half lemon flavoring

    Recipe



    In a mixing bowl cream butter, cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add flavoring and lemon peel. Gradually mix in the flour. Fill paper lined miniature muffin cups 2 thirds full. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes. While tea cakes are baking, mix the glaze ingredients together in a small bowl. Cool tea cakes 5 minutes, then remove paper cups and dip the tops of the warm tea cakes in glaze. Place on wire rack to cool completely and the glaze dry.

    Serve tea cakes with hot tea
