    1 pound unsifted icing (confectioners) sugar
    1/4 cup cocoa
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup butter or margarine
    1/4 cup vegetable shortening
    1/3 cup cold coffee
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe



    Sift sugar with cocoa and salt. Cream butter and shortening. Gradually add part of the sugar mixture, blending after each addition until light and fluffy. Add remaining sugar alternately with coffee until of right consistency to spread, beating after each addition until smooth. Blend in vanilla.
