Strawberry Pound Cake

List of Ingredients
2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt, optional
1/2 c. butter or margarine; softened
1 cup of sugar
4 eggs
1 carton (6 oz) strawberry yogurt
1/4 tsp. almond extract
Recipe
In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set
aside. In a large mixing bowl, at medium speed, beat together butter
and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, yogurt, and almond
exgtract until well blended. Reduce mixer speed to low. Add
reserved flour mixture, 1/2c. at a time beating just until well
blended.
Spread evenly in a greased and floured 9x5 loaf pan. Bake in
preheated oven at 325 until toothpick comes out of center clean.
This will be aprox. 70 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool completely.
