1 C. mini marshmallows
2 C. frozen strawberries in syrup thawed
1 pkg. strawberry jello
2 1/4 C. flour
1 1/2 C. sugar
1 C. milk
1/2 C. shortening
1 t. vanilla
3 T. baking powder
3 eggs
1/2 t. salt
Recipe
Grease bottom of 9x13 pan. Sprinkle marshmallows on bottom. In bowl, combine strawberries, syrup & jello, set aside. In large bowl combine flour, sugar, shortening, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla & eggs. Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes on medium scraping sides of bowl. Pour batter over marshmallows. Spread strawberry mixture evenly over batter. Bake at 350 45-50 minutes until golden.
