    1 pound ground beef -- browned & drained
    1 medium onion -- chopped and sauteed
    garlic salt -- to taste
    1 cup sliced black olives
    1 cup sour cream
    1 cup small curd cottage cheese
    4 ounces chopped green chiles -- canned
    2 cups grated cheddar cheese
    tortilla chips

    Recipe



    Combine the ground beef, onion, garlic salt
    and black olives. Set aside. Combine the sour
    cream, cottage cheese and chopped green chiles.
    Spread a layer of tortilla chips in the bottom
    of a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Top
    with half of the sour cream mixture. Sprinkle
    with 1 cup of the grated cheese. Top with half
    of the ground beef mixture. Repeat layers. Bake
    at 350F for 35-40 minutes or until bubbly and melted.
