Recipe
Dessert doesn't get much easier than this. You'll need three ingredients and an ice cream freezer (ideally electric) for the ultimate in simple. Then you churn and churn and churn this tangy, creamy chiller. The refreshing flavor is unmistakably lemonade. And the lucky recipients of a citrusy scoop will rave. It reminded our taste panel of why the puckery drink is so popular. It's a treat. But if you're watching your calories, make that a small scoop.
Makes about 8 cups ice cream. Total Time: about 5 hours.
To mix: In a medium mixing bowl, combine 4 cups whipping cream, one 14 ounces canned sweetened condensed milk and one thawed 12 ounces canned of frozen lemonade concentrate. Add several drops of yellow food coloring if you want a more lemony color.
Transfer the mixture to a 4-quart ice-cream freezer and freeze according to the manufacturer's directions. Ripen in freezer for 4 hours. Serve the ice cream with sliced fresh seasonal fruit, if you like.
