    Strawberry Cream Cheese Ice Cream

    4 eggs, beaten
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. half and half
    16 oz. cream cheese, softened
    2 T. lemon juice
    2 T. vanilla
    4 c. whipping cream
    1 12 oz. jar strawberry ice cream topping

    Recipe



    In a med. sized heavy duty pan, combine eggs, sugar and half and half.

    Cook and stir over med. heat, for about 12 mins., until thickened and
    bubbly.

    Cover, and chill mixture for 1 hr.

    Beat the cream cheese until it's smooth. Gradually beat egg-sugar
    mixture.

    Stir in the lemon juice and vanilla. Stir in the whipping cream.

    Freeze in a 4-5 qt. ice cream freezer, according to the manufacturer's
    directions.

    When mixture is frozen, remove the dasher, and stir in the
    strawberry ice cream topping with a long handled spoon until marbled,
    but not thoroughly mixed.

    Makes about 3 qts.
