Creamed Eggs on Toast

List of Ingredients
6 eggs, hard boiled ( sliced lengthwise and set aside)
4 Tbs. butter or margarine, melted in sauce in saucepan.
4 Tbs. flour
½ tsp. salt
1 pinch of pepper
2 C. milk
Recipe
Heat butter in saucepan until bubbly then remove from heat and
gradually stir in milk, flour, salt and pepper. Cook rapidly,
stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Continue cooking sauce for
about 2 minutes longer then remove from heat. Add egg slices to
sauce, stirring gently to avoid breaking slices, Add additional salt
and pepper if desired.
Serve on hot buttered toast, toasted English muffin halves, waffles
or baking powder biscuits. Makes 4 or 5 servings.
