Special Seafood Chowder

List of Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter
1 pound cod
4 cups diced potatoes
15 ounces creamed corn
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
2 cups water
2 cups half and half
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon old Bay Seafood seasoning
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Recipe
Sauté onions in butter in skillet until transparent but not brown.
Cut fish into 3/4 inch cubes. Combine fish, onions, potatoes, corn, seasonings and water in slow cooker. (I did not combine these ingredients. I layered the potatoes on the bottom of the crock pot followed by the onions, seasoning and water. Because I forgot to buy the creamed corn, I reduced the water to 1-2/3 cups of water.
Cover. Cook on low 6 hours, until potatoes are tender.
Add half and half during last hour.
