    Coffee Cream Cheese Frosting

    1 T. instant coffee
    1 T. hot water
    1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
    4 1/2 cups powdered sugar

    Recipe



    Stir the instant coffee and hot water in a small bowl until well blended. Set
    aside. Beat the cream cheese in a large bowl with mixer set on medium speed
    until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar until well
    blended. Beat in the coffee mixture until well blended. Makes about 2 cups of
    frosting or enough to frost one 13 x 9" cake. Cream cheese adds an intriguingly tangy
    note to this velvety frosting.
