Beef: All Day Long Crockpot Beef

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 lb beef roast (or venison roast or pork roast)
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 pkg onion soup, mix
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp steak sauce
3 carrots, sliced
2 celery stalks, diced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, sliced into rings
1/2 C water
1/2 C tomato juice
Recipe
Cut roast into 6 serving size pieces. Brown in oil (optional).
Place vegetables into bottom of crock pot. Sprinkle beef with
pepper, garlic, and onion soup mix. Place on top of vegetables.
Mix sauces in small bowl with water and tomato juice. Pour over
meat. Cook on low for 7-9 hours. Remove meat and vegetables
with slotted spoon. Pour liquid into saucepan and thicken with
flour or cornstarch. Serve over meat and vegetables. (6
servings)
I usually add diced potatoes, too.
