Beef: Meatloaf with Onion Gravy

2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
3/4 cup packaged seasoned bread crumbs
2 pounds ground beef
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbs. ketchup
1/2 tsp black pepper
ONION GRAVY:
1 tbs. vegetable oil
3 cups sliced onion
2 jars (12 oz each) savory beef gravy
1/4 tsp black pepper
ACCOMPANIMENTS:
1 bag 16 oz wide egg noodles, cooked and buttered
8 servings frozen crinkle cut carrot slices, cooked
Recipe
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly beat together eggs and milk in bowl. Stir
in bread crumbs until well blended, let stand until crumbs are softened. Add
beef, onion, soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and black pepper, mix
until well combined. Shape meat loaf mixture into loaf on foil lined baking pan.
Bake 45 min. or until done.GRAVY: Heat oil in skillet. Add onion saute 25
min. or until softened and golden. Add gravy and pepper, cook 5 min. Serve meat
loaf with gravy and accompaniments.*
