    Beef: Sweet and Sour Meatloaf

    1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1 teaspoon mustard
    2 pounds ground beef
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    1 egg -- slightly beaten
    1/4 cup minced onion
    1/4 cup saltine cracker crumbs
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper

    Recipe



    Combine first 4 ingredients to make sauce. Combine remaining
    ingredients, kneading together with hands. Add 1/2 tomato sauce mixture.
    Put in loaf pan. Pour remaining sauce over loaf. Bake at 400°F. for 45
    minutes.
