2 cups sugar
your favorite flavored extracts, to taste

In a heavy saucepan, stir sugar and water over medium heat, until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil and boil for one minute. Add flavorings to taste. Pour into a pretty bottle and label. Store refrigerated.
