Breakfast: Apple Oat Breakfast Treats

3/4 C butter, softened
3/4 C brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 C old-fashioned oats
3/4 C flour
1/2 C instant dry milk
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/4 C apple pie filling
Recipe
Cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine
dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Drop by
1/4 cupfuls 6 inches apart. Flatten into 3 inch circles. Make
a slight indentation in the center of each, top with a rounded
tablespoon of pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 16-20
minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool for 5 minutes
on pan. Remove to wrie racks to cool completely. (10 servings)
You can make these the day or even a couple of days before and
store them in the refrigerator. You can also change the flavor
by using different pie filling.
