    12 slices French bread, 1 inch thick
    8 eggs
    2 C milk
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    3/4 C butter, softened
    3 Tbsp dark corn syrup
    1 C chopped walnuts

    Recipe



    Place bread in a greased 13x9x2 baking dish. In a large bowl,
    beat eggs milk, vanilla, and cinnamon; pour over bread. Cover
    and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes
    before baking. Meanwhile, cream butter, brown sugar and syrup
    until smooth; spread over bread. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake,
    uncovered, at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or until golden brown.
    (6-8 servings)
