    Buttermilk Wheat Waffles

    List of Ingredients




    1 c. flour
    1 c. white wheat flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    4 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    4 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Recipe



    Note: Add 1/4 cup sugar for Belgium waffle. Cook 6
    minutes.
    For Waffles: Combine dry ingredients with eggs. Mix
    liquids in 50 strokes. Preheat Teflon waffle iron 5 minutes
    or
    until water sizzles; grease iron if needed. Pour 3/4 cup
    batter into iron. Set timer 4 to 5 minutes to cook; watch
    light. Check for absence of steam. Gently lift lid and use
    fork to release waffle. Makes 6 to 8 large waffles, 12 to 16

    pancakes.
