Biscuits
Split leftover biscuits and spread each side with butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder parsley, dill weed, and shredded Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 400º until browned and the cheese is melted.
Chili
Put corn chips on a plate, spoon warmed chili over and garnish with shredded cheese and diced tomatoes avocados and green onions. Chili Nachos.
Chop Suey
Warm up leftover Chop Suey or Chow Mein and add some scramble eggs. Delicious.
Macaroni and Cheese
Put leftover Mac and Cheese in a hot skillet coated with melted butter, Whisk together an egg or two and milk, salt and pepper and pour over the macaroni. Sprinkle with seasoned bread crumbs and cook until egg is done.
Meatloaf
Blend a can of cream of chicken soup with 3/4 C. milk and spread a small amount on the bottom of a casserole dish. Layer slices of leftover meat loaf, mashed potatoes and the rest of the soup mixture. Bake at 325º for 45 minutes. Makes a hearty casserole.
Pasta
Take leftover pasta, fry in olive oil along with chopped fresh dill and garlic. Serve with sliced tomato and grated cheese
Steak
In the microwave, heat slices of leftover steak with sour cream, diced onions and garlic, pepper and a can of cream of mushroom soup and enough water to make a nice sauce. Serve over leftover egg noodles.
Pie Crust
With leftover pie crust, roll out 3 to 4 inch circles, place on a cookie sheet, prick with a fork and bake until golden brown. Freeze these in freezer zip bags. They come in handy for topping mini pot pies or as a base for individual pudding desserts.
Roast
Cut leftover roast into 1/4 inch slices and dip in beaten egg, then in dry bread crumbs. Fry the slices in oil or butter until hot and golden.
Salmon
Combine chunks of leftover salmon with mayo and chopped pickles and onions for a wonderful sandwich filling.
Tacos
Warm leftover seasoned taco meat in a skillet, add flour to make a paste. Stir in milk to make a savory gravy and serve over biscuits
Vegetables
Chop and stir together leftover potatoes, carrots, and turnips with a bit of onion and garlic. Fry in a little butter. It's a tasty new side dish.
