Sides: Green Beans and Garlic

1 pound fresh green beans
1 Tbs. olive oil
1 Tbs. butter
2 cloves fresh garlic
1/4 cup white wine or water
1 tsp. chicken bouillon
black pepper
Recipe
Rinse off the beans and slice the ends off.
Turn the stove to edium high heat and add the oil and butter in a 12" skillet. When the butter has melted, blend the oil and butter, then add the beans and stir.
Peel and mince the garlic while the beans cook, then add to the pan. Lower the heat to medium and cook 4 to minutes, stirring often, till beans are bright green.
Add the wine or water and bouillon. Raise the heat to high till the liquid boils, then turn down to medium. Stir frequently until the beans are crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with pepper.
