    Christmas: Christmas Philly Cake

    List of Ingredients




    1 (8 oz.) pkg. of cream cheese
    1/2 lb. of butter or margarine
    1 1/2 cups of sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
    4 eggs
    2 1/4 cups of flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
    1 cup of candied fruit
    1/2 cup of ground walnuts

    Recipe



    Thoroughly blend cream cheese, margarine, sugar and vanilla.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Gradually add 2 cups flour sifted with baking powder. Combine
    1/4 cup flour with candied fruit and nuts. Fold into batter.
    Grease a 10 inch Bundt pan. Sprinkle with a few chopped nuts.
    Pour batter into pan; bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and
    20 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from pan. Garnish with
    pineapple and cherries.
