    Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving Pumpkin Cake

    List of Ingredients




    1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. water
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. raisins (optional)

    Recipe



    Beat the eggs along with pumpkin, vegetable oil and water. After it is finely beaten, add the dry
    ingredients. Mix it well. Stir in chopped pecans. Bake the mixture in greased and floured tube pan
    for 1 hour or until done at 350 degrees. Test for doneness with a toothpick or butter knife.

    Serve warm with fresh whipped cream or a scoop of your favorite ice cream and a cup of coffee.
