1/2 pound Round Steak, lean only -- 3/4 thick, or swiss steak
salt pepper
1 small onion -- thinly sliced
1 can tomato sauce -- (8 oz)
Recipe
Cut round steak in half and season with salt and pepper.
Place onion slices in crock-ette.
Place meat on top of onion.
Pour tomato sauce over all.
Cover and cook 8 to 10 hours.
