Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Mix

List of Ingredients
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar -- firmly packed
1 3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
8 large Reese's Peanut Butter Cups*
Recipe
* cut into 1/2 inch pieces. If you use a different size use a total of
between 5-6 ounces
DIRECTIONS FOR LAYERING THE JAR:
Mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside. Layer
ingredients in
order given in a 1 quart "wide mouth" canning jar. Press each layer
firmly
in place before adding next ingredient.
ATTACH TO JAR:
REECE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS COOKIES--
1 quart Reece's Peanut Butter Cups Cookie Mix
1 stick butter or margarine* very soft
1 large egg slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla optional
* not diet
Empty jar of cookie mix into a large mixing bowl. Use your hands to
thoroughly blend mix. Add butter or margarine, slightly beaten eggs,
and
vanilla. Mix until completely well blended. You will need to finish
with
your hands. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Place 2 inches
apart on
sprayed or lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-
14
minutes, until edges are lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes on baking
sheet.
Remove to racks to finish cooling.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies
