List of Ingredients
3 to 4 pounds beef short ribs
Salt and pepper
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
2 T. vinegar
1 T. instant minced onion
2 T. molasses
1 t. liquid smoke
Recipe
sprinkle salt and pepper on all sides of ribs and put into a Dutch oven or heavy 3 quart casserole. In small pan, combine remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour over ribs. Cover and bake at 275 for 3 to 4 hours or until tender. Makes 6 to 8 servings
Can also be cooked in a crockpot on Low for 8 to 10 hours. Leftovers make a wonderful stew with carrots and potatoes added. Also works very well with pot roast.
