List of Ingredients
1 lb stir fry beef
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp + 1/4 C soy sauce
garlic clove, minced
4 C broccoli florets
2 tsp water
4 scallions, cut in 1 inch pieces
2/3 C orange juice
2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp rice-wine vinegar
2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 Tbsp oil
1/2 C salted cashews
Recipe
Combine beef, brown sugar, 2 Tbsp soy sauce and garlic in
plastic resealable bag. Let stand briefly. If using fresh
broccoli, microwave broccoli and water for 2 minutes. Combine
scallions, orange juice, 1/4 C soy sauce, cornstarch, rice-wine
vinegar, ginger and red pepper flakes in a lidded jar. Heat oil
in wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef with marinade
and stir fry 1-3 minutes. Add broccoli, stir fry 1-2 minutes.
Add cashews and cook 1 minute. Shake jar containing sauce
ingredients and pour into wok. Stir and cook 2-3 minutes until
thickened. Serve over hot rice. (4 servings)
