    1 Tablespoon ammonia
    1 Tablespoon Ivory liquid dish detergent
    1 Quart hot water

    Before using for the first time, test a small patch of cleaner on
    a hidden area of the carpet to check for colorfastness.
    To use:
    Apply to carpet. Scrub with brush and blot with dry white cloth to
