List of Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 large onion, finely chopped
1-8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup sour cream OR small container cottage cheese ( I prefer cottage
cheese)
1-4 oz. can mushrooms, sliced, or fresh mushrooms
(I prefer fresh mushrooms)
Recipe
Melt butter in skillet, add onion and mushrooms, cook till soft. Remove.
Brown ground beef with salt and pepper.
Add cooked onions, mushrooms, tomato sauce, water and lemon juice and
Worcestershire sauce.
Cover and cook 10 min.
Let cool and freeze in container or big ziploc bag.
Label and date container or bag.
When ready to serve, defrost, heat to serving temperature and stir in either
sour cream OR cottage cheese.
While it is heating, cook egg noodles.
