    List of Ingredients




    -1 head of broccoli, cut into sections and parboiled.
    -1 lb pasta - I used "Cellentani".
    -olive oil
    -garlic, sliced thin or minced
    -a few sun dried tomatoes, chopped
    -dried pepper flake (optional)
    -salt and pepper
    -flavored dried bread crumbs (optional)
    -grated Parmesan (optional)

    Boil your pasta until al dente. That's "to the tooth"- with a little bite to it. In the meanwhile, saute garlic in a generous amount of olive oil. Be careful and don't brown the garlic or you will have to start all over again. When the garlic is soft, add broccoli, sun dried tomatoes, red pepper flake, salt and pepper. Let that cook together a few minutes, then add your cooked pasta with a little of that cooking water. I use a big slotted spoon to transfer the pasta from the boiling water to the saute pan. Add a ladle full of pasta water. Cook all together until water almost evaporates. Now toss all with a small handful of bread crumbs or grated cheese (or both! Why not?!) and serve. That's it! Enjoy!
    *If you want to cook this in the traditional way, boil the broccoli and pasta together in the same pot. The garlic will still be sauteed in a separate pan and the pasta/broccoli will be tossed into that!
