Pasta with Olive Sauce

List of Ingredients
Freshly boiled pasta of your choice
Sauce:
1 large onion
1 - 2 garlic cloves
3 tbs olive oil
14 oz crushed canned tomatoes
3 tbs tomato puree
dash salt
dash sugar (brings out the best taste of the tomatoes)
some coarsely ground black pepper
approx 2/3 cup chopped olives
Recipe
Peel the onion and cut in small wedges. Peel the garlic and cut in large
pieces (well, as large as you can anyway!). Sautee onion and garlic in some
oil in a pot so that the onion takes a little color. Add remaining
ingredients, except for the olives, and let boil slowly with the lid halfway
on for about 30 minutes.
Add the olives, heat through and serve with freshly boiled pasta and a
salad. Enjoy!
